Commentary
The Ugric etymology of átkoz is presented as uncertain in UEW. The only possible cognate within Ugric is found in East Khanty. Formally East Khanty at- and Hungarian át- could be cognates, but the scarce distribution and the semantic differences raise suspicions, and the etymology cannot be considered as certain.
Conclusion
Connection between Hungarian átkoz and East Khanty at- remains uncertain.
